The Komax Group, based in Switzerland, is expanding its network of German subsidiaries with the acquisition of WusTec GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in the Black Forest.
The Komax Group, headquartered in Dierikon, Switzerland, is a globally active group of companies in the technology sector and a leading provider of automated cable processing and cable testing solutions in more than 60 countries. The Komax Group focuses in particular on the manufacture of wire stripping machines and fully automatic crimping machines, offering its customers worldwide a full-service package in this area that covers quality assurance and networking solutions in the cable segment. With the acquisition of WusTec, the Komax Group is expanding its service portfolio to include a long-standing provider of automated wire pre-processing and is strengthening its market position in Germany with over 30 new employees.
Our M&A partners, Jakob Eisenreich (certified public accountant/tax advisor) and Marina Badelt (attorney), were tasked with conducting the preparatory tax due diligence and providing tax advice on the design and structuring of the acquisition. On behalf of the Komax Group, Mr. Sergio Seeholzer served as the lead project manager and deal maker.
